Andrew Body was selected Monday as the Stats Perform HBCU National Player for week one FCS college football games on Mionday.

The dual-threat quarterback accounted for a career-high 431 yards of total offense as well as five touchdowns, putting the Hornets in late position for an FBS win before they fell 52-42 at UAB. He was 18-for-24 for 312 yards and four scores, posting a 239.2 passer rating that was the Week 1 high among FCS QBs facing Division I competition. He also carried the ball 16 times for 119 yards and a TD.
The weekly honors lead up to the Stats Perform FCS National Awards Presentation on Jan. 3 in Nashville, Tennessee. The season-ending awards are in their 39th year.
