FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C.| Alabama State Univeristy quarterback Andrew Body has been named HBCU National Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Body, a redshirt-sophomore from Corpus Chtisti, Texas, produced 311 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in the Hornets' 37-9 victory over Miles. He completed 14-of-16 passes (87.5 percent) for 251 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, and rushed seven times for 60 yards.
Body will be highlighted on the nationally syndicated sports talk show BOXTOROW with Donal Ware which airs on radio stations across the country including WUMO 94.5-FM in Montgomery, and outside of the U.S. in The Bahamas and British Virgin Islands.
