The lone setter on the team last season, the standout senior has no concern about depth, Meinert managed to place her name in the Alabama State record books.

A transfer from Wallace Community college, Meinert collected 743 assists while playing in 100 sets for the Lady Hornets.

Meinert's other weapon is her serving ablity.  Her 57 service aces led the team and allowed the Lady Hornets to remain competitive in several matches last season.  She finished the year ranked ninth in the NCAA in service aces.
