Alabama State University Athletics

Julio Valdez begins his first year as Alabama State University Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach.

Valdez joins the staff after his completing his playing career at Alabama State. He was a member of the Hornet baseball team from 2012-2016 and a member of the 2016 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) championship team.

Valdez will coach first base for Alabama State this season.
