2024 SWAC Special Teams Player of the Weekd (Week 1)

2024 (Alabama State): Played in seven games in the running back rotation...carried the ball 46 times for 234 yards and had nine receptions for 103 yards...returned seven kicks for 148 yards including an 82-yard return in the season opener against North Carolina Central (Orange Blossom Classic)...named SWAC Special Teams Player of the Week following the Orange Blossom Classic...rushed for a season-best 74 yards on nine totes against Bethune-Cookman...had a season-high 11 rush attempts against Jackson State...apart of a rushing attached that gained 2,028 yards, becoming the first team to rush for 2,000 yards since 2019...the ASU offense had 2,028 rushing yards, becoming the first team to rush for 2,000 yards since 2019. The Hogs paved the way for four 200-yard rushing games, including a season-high 308 at Bethune-Cookman. ASU rushed for 211 yards against Florida A&M, 203 against North Carolina Central, and 204 against Alabama A&M...ASU rushed for 100 yards in 10-of-12 games, missing the 100-yard mark against Alcorn State and Grambling State...the Hornets out rushed 9-of-12 opponents, and the 18 sacks tied for second in fewest sacks allowed.  ASU ranks averaged 169.0 yards per game, ranking 4th in the SWAC after ranking 11th in 2023.

2023 (Alabama State): Played in five contests, catching 10 passes for 64 yard and a touchdown...also rushed 14 times for 50 yards...returned two kicks for 55 yards with a long of 33.

UAB: 2022 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR: Appeared in nine games… recorded 11 carries for 13 yards. 2021 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE: Played in three games...Has seven rushing attempts for 24 yards...Had career-high 15 yards at Southern Miss.
