Devin Santana enters his first year as a quality control coach on the defensive side of the football for Alabama State after a career on the field with the Hornets.

Santana played three seasons for the Hornets, appearing in 27 games over that time before an injury sidelined him late in the 2018 season. The first year quality control coach enjoyed his best year at Alabama State during his junior campaign when he played in 11 games at both, defensive end and defensive tackle. He recorded 33 total tackles, including 18 solo stops; while also recording 5.5 tackles for loss.

He finished his junior campaign with 2.5 sacks and forced a pair of fumbles.

Prepped at Sickles High School (Tampa, Fla.), Santana played one year at Florida Atlantic before transferring to Alabama State for his final three seasons of eligibility.
