2025 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)

• Did not see any game action as a sophomore … unable to return to the field due to recovery from his 2024 injury.
• NCAA TRANSFER PORTAL: entered the transfer portal following the season, eventually signing with Alabama State.

2024 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)

• Appeared in 10 games as either a reserve linebacker or on special teams … season was cut short after suffering a knee injury versus Colorado (11/9) that kept him out of the final two games of the regular season and then the AutoZone Liberty Bowl versus Arkansas (12/27).
• Finished with four tackles on the season, including a shared sack, which was the first of his career … sack came against North Texas (9/14) as part of two tackles in the win … marked the first two tackles of his career … added stops later in the year at TCU (10/26) and versus Colorado (11/9).
• Credited with 169 snaps on special teams by Pro Football Focus, which ranked fifth on the team … consistent member of the kickoff return, kickoff coverage and field goal block units … also saw time on punt returns during the year.

 
2023 SEASON (FRESHMAN)

• Redshirt season … inserted into one game overall, which came against Cal in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl versus Cal (12/16) … utilized as part of both the kickoff coverage and punt return units against the Golden Bears … collegiate debut came in his home state of Louisiana.
• Member of the scout team throughout the season. 

 
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended John Curtis Christian High School in New Orleans, La....developed into one of the top linebacker prospects in the state of Louisiana as a senior...helped lead John Curtis to the Louisiana Division I state championship as a senior after totaling 144 tackles, 17.0 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, five quarterback hurries, and three pass breakups over 14 games...tabbed the District 9-5A Defensive MVP and a first-team honoree at linebacker...two-year starter on defense, totaling 70 tackles as a junior, including 6.0 tackles for loss and a sack...multi-sport athlete as a standout for the track and field program...among the fastest athletes not only in Louisiana but the country as the Class 5A state champion in the 110-meter hurdles...clocked as low as 7.93 in the 60-meter hurdles, 13.85 in the 110-meter hurdles and 38.25 in the 300-meter hurdles...tabbed a three-star prospect by the likes of 247Sports, Rivals and On3 … considered the No. 31 recruit in his home state by On3 and the No. 52 linebacker in the country...listed as the No. 33 prospect in Louisiana by 247Sports and No. 73 nationally among linebackers...ranked 44th nationally among outside linebackers by Rivals.

PERSONAL: Born in New Orleans to parents Jason and Monica Horne...has an older brother, Mason...majoring in kinesiology.
