2021 Spring (at Alabama State): Named SWAC Freshman of the Year... Named a finalist for the Jerry Rice Award - top freshman in the country... Named SWAC Newcomer of the Week three times... Named SWAC Offensive Player of the Week one time... Played and started all five games... Finished the year 85-for-144 for 917 yards and eight touchdowns, while throwing five interceptions... Also ran the ball 36 times for 110 yards and touchdown... Recorded a career-high 305 yards on 20-of-34 passing against Mississippi Valley State with three touchdowns... Also ran the ball seven times for 66 yards in the same game... Finished with 257 yards passing against Jackson State on 27-of-42 passing with a pair of touchdowns... Also recorded a pair of touchdowns through the air against Southern.

2019 (at Alabama State): Did not see any action during true freshman season, earning a medical redshirt after injury in high school.

High School: Played at Hillcrest-Evergreen (Ala.) High School... Two-year starter and finished his career with 5,203 passing yards and 52 touchdowns... Also added 487 career yards rushing and five touchdowns... Completed 62 percent of his passes during his high school career... The newest Hornet led his team to the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 3A state championship game in 2017, while also being named First Team All-State and championship game MVP... Also starred at shooting guard for Hillcrest-Evergreen by averaging 12.6 points per game.
