DeJarrod Jones is entering his first year as Director of Compliance in the Alabama State Department of Athletics.
Jones moves accross the ASU Campus to the compliance office from Office of Academic Affairs where he served as an Academic Success Coach.
Prior to arriving at Alabama State, Jones worked as a Student Success Coach in TRiO at the University of West Florida where we worked with student athletes. During his time at the University of West Florida, he helped increase the football team’s team GPA.
Jones is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and holds a B.S. in Health Education and Promotion from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a M.S. in Sports Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
