About Jeffery: This is Jeffery’s fourth season as a member of the Hornet’s program…He has played in 79 games over the course of his career with 38 starts…Will enter the season as the top returning point guard on the team…He provides ASU with plenty of quickness and is a solid defender.
2010-11: Jeffery is one of only three players on the team last season to see action in all 35 games…He was second on the team in minutes played with 816 on the season (23.3 avg.)…Had 26 starts on the season and led the team in assists with 97…He averaged almost five points and two rebounds per game while shooting 71 percent from the free throw line…His season and career high in points came against Mississippi Valley State (1/10/11) as he scored 18 points…Part of those points came from the free throw line where he connected on all eight of his attempts…He then scored 16 points again against MVSU (2/7/11)…In that game he was a perfect 12-12 at the free throw line…He scored 13 points against Loyola University of Chicago in 22 minutes of action.
2009-10: Jeffery was a solid playmaker his sophomore season with 68 assists during the season…He started 12 contests while appearing in 24 games…Scored eight points in the season-opener against Ole Miss…He had seven assists in games against Auburn and Grambling State.
2008-09: Jeffery appeared in 20 games as a true freshman…Scored in five contests with a season-best three points and four assists against Alabama A&M.
