Tim Ellis joined the Alabama State women's volleyball coaching staff in spring of 2015.
The 2015 campaign will be his first season as the secondary assistant.
The Hayneville, Ala., native has seven years of experience working as a fitness guru with the local YMCA.
Keeping a strong fitness regimen through the years, Ellis will train players in developing core strength as well as through upper and lower body excercises.
Ellis also has a team sports background in that he played varsity basketball at Holtville High School.
Ellis is an Alabama State alum who earned a degree in Music Recording Technology in 2009.
