Tynesha Adams joins the Alabama State volleyball staff for her first season as an assistant coach.
A native of Prattville (Ala.), Adams played collegiately for three years at Bethune-Cookman before transferring to Mercy (N.Y.) College where she earned Second Team All-ECC honors as a middle blocker.
She began her coaching with the Chelsea Piers (Conn.) Athletic Club, coaching the Piers 15 to the regionals in 2021-22. She followed that up by coaching the Piers 16 to nationals in 2022-23.
Adams earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Mercy College in 2022, majoring in Exercise Science (Performance Track).
