AMES, IOWA-
The Alabama State Men's basketball team continued their Midwest road struggles with a 74-47 loss at Iowa State.  Four Cyclones scored in double figures led by Scott Christopherson's 15 points.

ASU struggled with ISU's defense as the Hornets finished with 16 turnovers which directly led to 18 ISU points.

The Hornets also struggled shooting the ball as they were only able to knock down 28 percent of their shots.  Stephawn Brown came off the bench to lead ASU with eight points and four rebounds.  A.J. Spencer, Ivory White, and Jeffery Middlebrooks scored six points apiece.

The Hornets, already without four major contributors, lost leading scorer Kenderek Washington in the first half with a head injury.  He was unable to return to action in the second half.

Melvin Ejim joined Christopherson in double digits with 15 points while grabbing nine boards.  Diante Garrett had 13 points and a game-high five assists while Jake Anderson recorded a double-double for the Cyclones with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

ASU will travel on to Prescott, Ariz., where they will meet Northern Arizona University in the final game of the Global Sports Hy-Vee Challenge.  The game will be played Tuesday night beginning at 8 p.m. CST.
