ASU Soccer Stopped By South Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. - The Alabama State University Soccer team dropped their second match of the young season against South Alabama. The final was 6-1.

In rainy conditions, ASU just didn't have enough to survive in Mobile. Helma Van Zadow scored the only goal for the Lady Hornets. It all happened in the 43^rd minute of the first half. An assist from Heather Sherman allowed Van Zadow to kick one in from the right side just outside the box.

Chelsea Nash finished with 11 saves on the night. Nash now has 13 through two games. ASU soccer returns to action Sunday playing host to Southeastern Louisiana for a 1 p.m. start. Admission into Hornet Stadium is free.
