Magic City Classic Among Games Added to Broadcast Schedule

The State Farm Magic City Classic is among a pair of football games which have been picked up by broadcast networks.
 
The 71st edition of the State Farm Magic City Classic in Birmingham will be shown live on ESPN3.com and shown tape-delayed on ESPNU. Kickoff for the Oct. 27 game vs. Alabama A&M is set for 2:30 p.m. at Legion Field.
 
Also, the Hornets' Sept. 15 game at Grambling State will be shown live via internet on SWACTV. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
 
Alabama State now has five games scheduled to be televised on the ESPN family of networks or SWACTV. Alabama State's season-opening game vs. Bethune-Cookman in the MEAC-SWAC Challenge on Sept. 2 will be televised live on ESPN at 11 a.m. CT. The Hornets' Thurs. Sept. 20 home game vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff will be broadcast live on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m. The 89th Turkey Day Classic vs. Tuskegee, the first game in the New ASU Football Stadium, will be televised live on ESPNU at 3 p.m.
