Lady Hornets Soccer Struggles Against S.C. State

Box Score The Alabama State soccer team fell 4-0 to the South Carolina State Bulldogs, Sunday during the second match of the Sleep Inn Bulldog Classic.

The Lady Hornets couldn't do anything against the offense of the Bulldogs. South Carolina State moved the ball quickly around the ASU defense.

“We are very inconsistent defensively,” said Head Coach Jodie Smith. “We didn't do a good job on defense and we paid the price. This is a team loss as we did not compete.”

The Lady Hornets (1-3) will return to action on Tuesday, September 4 as they face South Alabama in Mobile, Ala.
