The Lady Hornets soccer team will host Talladega College at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 2 at the ASU Soccer Complex.

"We are looking forward to the game after a weekend off. We hope to go into this match, playing a full ninety minutes and not just eighty-nine minutes." Head Coach Jodie Smith stated. "We really have to maintain out offensive form while looking to tighten up on the defensive end."
The Lady Hornets (4-6) have finished their past two contests in a loss and win, but look to turn things around on Wednesday and grasp another home win. ASU leads the Southwestern Athletic Conference in Shots with (115), points (59), goals (21), and in assists (17).
Junior goalkeeper Kylee Hathaway leads the SWAC in goals against average with a 2.38 over a period of 795:00 minutes played. Hathaway also leads the conference in save percentage with (.816), in shutouts (2), and in shutouts per game with a (.25) average.
Freshmen forward Aaliyah lewis leads the conference in shots attempted with (31), goals (6), points (15), and in points per game (1.50).
The Hornets open up conference play this weekend as they travel to Mississippi to face Alcorn State on Friday and Mississippi Valley on Sunday.
