Alabama State University's football team took a much-needed day off Thursday, but will be back on the practice field twice on Friday. The two practice sessions on Friday will be ASU's final two-a-day practice day of preseason camp.

Friday's sessions will begin with a light 9 a.m. workout with the team back on the field at 7 p.m. Those sessions will lead ASU into their second scrimmage of camp on Saturday which should begin around 9:30 a.m. at Old Hornets Stadium.

Saturday's scrimmage is the first event of Fall Fan Day which will include the Lady Hornets soccer team hosting Faulkner University in an exhibition match at 4 p.m. Fan Day will end the day's activities beginning at 6 p.m. following the soccer match. Student-Athletes from the football, soccer, cross country and volleyball team will be on hand to sign posters and meet and greet fans at the soccer field.
