TROY, Ala. – The Alabama State men's basketball team had trouble slowing down the hot shooting of Troy as the Hornets fell to the Trojans 83-65 on Sunday night at Trojan Arena.Â
Alabama State (1-7) allowed the Trojans (4-4) to shot 50 percent from the floor as a team and was outscored by nine points in each half.
Three Hornets reached double figures in scoring including
Torloft Thomas (17 points),
Reginald Gee (15 points) and
Rodney Simeon (14 points), but ASU was minus 11 in rebounding margin and shot just 31 percent from the floor as a team.Â
Next, Alabama State will travel to play at San Diego State next Monday.
