NEW ORLEANS – There are both good and bad about receiving a first round bye at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tennis Tournament, but with the first round now complete both of ASU's tennis teams know who they will face in Saturday's semifinals.

The top-seeded Lady Hornets will face Jackson State Saturday, April 16 at 9 a.m. JSU was able to play its way into the semifinals by virtue of its 4-0 win over sixth-seeded Alabama A&M.

The Lady Hornets (13-7) defeated Jackson State (7-14) 4-0 at the first SWAC Round Up back on Feb. 26.

The second-seeded Hornets will play the tournament's third seed Prairie View A&M, a 4-2 winner over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Friday's quarterfinals. ASU (6-9) defeated PVAMU (3-18) 4-0 on March 19 in the SWAC Round Up. The semifinal match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
