MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama State University men's tennis team returns to action this weekend playing a pair of matches in Georgia.
Alabama State (0-1) returns to action this weekend against Georgia Southern (2-3) on Saturday and South Carolina State on Sunday, beginning at 10:00 am (est). The Hornets enter the match following a 6-1 loss to Samford last Sunday, a match in which they picked up their point at number five singles where
Szabin Pusztay won in three sets 6-2, 3-6, 1-0. Although that was the only point they picked up, the Hornets pushed other matches to the brink including a three-set loss at number one singles. The Hornets picked up a win at number on doubles, although Samford picked up the doubles point.
The matches will be the last matches until February 10 for Alabama State, when they begin a three-game home stand against Presbyterian.
