MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Alabama State University men's tennis team swept through singles play en route to a 4-0 victory over Alabama A&M on the second day of the ASU Invitational held at the
Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center on the Saturday afternoon.

The Hornets picked up wins at number two, five and six en route to the victory after winning the doubles point. Alabama State won the clinched the doubles point when their number one team of
Takura Mlambo and
Ion Efrim claimed a 6-2 victory; followed by a 6-0 win by the number three team of
Szabin Pusztay and
Karlo Skvorc.

Alabama State used a straight-set (6-0, 6-0) victory by Fernandez at number two and 6-2, 6-1 victory by
Andrej Trajkovski to complete the sweep. The fourth and final victory came from Pusztay at number five with a 6-3, 6-0 straight set win.
Alabama State returns to action Jacksonville State University at 1 pm Sunday afternoon in the final day of the Alabama State Invitational at the
Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center.
