MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama State University men's tennis team won their second consecutive match at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), defeating Alcorn State 4-2 at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center.
Alabama State claimed the doubles point when they got victories at number one and two to take an overall 1-0 lead. The Hornets got victories at number two (
Ion Efrim), at number five (
Karlo Skvorc), and at number six (
Andrej Trajkovski).
Skvorc clinched the match for the Hornets against Nuno Rocha at number five with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 victory.
