MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Takura Mlambo and Digvijay Naruka recorded three of the Alabama State University men's tennis team's points in a 4-0 victory over Alabama A&M University on Senior Day in the SWAC Roundup at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center.
 
Mlambo teamed with Ion Efrim at number one doubles for a 6-2 victory; while Naruka combined with Karlo Skvorc to record a 6-4 victory to clinch the doubles point for the Hornets.
 
Alabama State (7-11, 7-0 SWAC) used a point in singles from Efrim at number two where he won his match 6-0, 6-1; before Mlambo set the stage for Naruka – who is usually outside of the top six in singles – in his final home match. Mlambo won his match at number one singles over Nishangan Nadaraja 6-0, 6-0; before the celebration began moments later.
 
Naruka clinched the match for the Hornets with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Joshua Wilson to finish the season undefeated in conference play.
