MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State will the road for their final regular season tournament prior to the conference tournament, participating in the Columbia 300 Music City Classic at the Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna (Tenn.).

The tournament begins on Friday morning with five, 5-game Baker matches set to begin at 9:40 am; followed by five traditional team games at 9:30 am on Saturday. The tournament concludes with a best-of-seven Baker bracket beginning at 8:30 am on Sunday.

A total of 32 teams are entered into the tournament, making the largest NCAA Tournament of the regular season, and features 20 teams that are ranked inside the top 25 in the latest NTCA poll.

Alabama State will compete against the likes of Alabama A&M, Arkansas State, Belmont Abbey, Central Missouri, Delaware State, Elmhurst, Felician, Grambling State, Howard, Lincoln Memorial, Lincoln University, LIU-Brooklyn, Louisiana Tech, Maryland-Eastern Shore, Maryville, McKendree, Monmouth, North Carolina A&T, North Central College, Prairie View A&M, Saint Francis, Sacred Heart, Sam Houston State, Southern, Stephen F. Austin, Texas Southern, Tulane, Vanderbilt, UAB, Wisconsin-Whitewater and Youngstown State.

McKendree defeated Arkansas State in last year's finale, while Sacred Heart defeated Stephen F. Austin in the third place game. The tournament, hosted by Vanderbilt, will have a five-player all-tournament team along with a Most Valuable Player Award announced after the completion of play on Sunday.
