Hornets return to action after losses at LSU

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State returns to action to face Point in their home opener after dropping a pair of matches at LSU this weekend.

The match is scheduled to begin at 1 pm as part of a doubleheader with the women's program at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center, and is the home opener for the Hornets.

AN INSIDE LOOK AT ALABAMA STATE
  • Alabama State won a single match over the weekend in losses to LSU and UT-Rio Grande Valley, with Tomas Fernandez picking up a win at number three singles against UT-Rio Grande Valley.
  • Ion Efrim, the top player for Alabama State, did not finish either of his matches this weekend at LSU as both matches were extended and not completed when the team match was decided.
