MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Alabama State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics recognized 33 student-athletes Wednesday morning that will graduate this semester.
The dual 300th Commencement Exercises will be held December 6 at both 9:45 am and 2:45 pm at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome. Annette Brooks Quarles, director of IBM z/OS Development and alumna of Alabama State University will serve as the commencement speaker at both ceremonies.
The Commencement Exercise at 9:45 am will feature the College of Education, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and the University College. Meanwhile, at 2:45 pm, the Percy J. Vaughn, Jr. College of Business Administration, College of Health Sciences and the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will be recognized.

Over the last five semesters, Alabama State has recognized 162 graduating student-athletes who have received their degrees representing all 18 intercollegiate sports.
