ATLANTA, Ga. | Several Alabama State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics administration and staff participated in the HBCU Alliance 5K Run/2K Walk Saturday at Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta.

Jennifer Lynne Williams and her staff joined the Metro Atlanta Alumni Chapter of Alabama State in the event that helps raise money and awareness for HBCUs. The event, in its 12th year, helps raise much-needed scholarship dollars for students in Metro-Atlanta and over the past 11 years the participants and sponsors have raised over $1.4 million.
