Quotable – Head Coach Jodie Smith
"North Alabama finished more of their chances and we didn't finish ours. We were easily inside the 18 with good looks at the goal and we made it easy on their goalkeeper. We didn't finish our chances; they did. It's frustrating, but it wasn't through lack of effort. I thought we had tremendous effort, but when you don't finish your chances -- and the other team does -- it's hard to win." -
on the early start to the game, but tough finish
Â
"It's nice to get healthy bodies before we go to Georgia, and it's nice to get a semblance of what we're going to look like as we look beyond the following weekend before we get into conference play. We can get a feel for the bodies back and what we thought we might be for the season." -
on what to look forward to as they travel on the road to Mercer.
