@BamaStateBowl returns to action this weekend

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | After a two-week break, Alabama State returns to action at the TNBA/HBCU Invitational in Atlanta (Ga.) this weekend.

Teams that will be at the competition, including Alabama State, are Coppin State, Morgan State, Jackson State, Fayetteville State, Alabama A&M, Grambling State, Texas Southern, Southern, Johnson C. Smith, Virginia State, Florida A&M, Bethune-Cookman, Virginia Union, Livingstone College, and Norfolk State.

The tournament will consist of a three-day schedule and lane draws will be determined randomly in the coaches' meeting on Friday morning. The entire tournament will be scratch and will be based on match wins and losses. Teams will compete in five-game Baker matches on Friday, followed by five traditional game matches on Saturday. The teams will then be seeded based on total pins for the racket round on Sunday, which will be three Baker best of seven games.
