MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State head men's basketball coach
Mo Williams announced the third signee for the upcoming season Tuesday afternoon, with the addition of
DJ Jackson to the program.
"
DJ Jackson is a tough combo guard that can play both guard positions," Williams said. "He brings versatility on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. He not only comes from a great high school program but also one of the top AAU programs in the country. DJ has won and had an impact everywhere he has been. We are excited to welcome him to ASU and Hornet nation."
Jackson led his team, Etiwanda High School to a 30-4 overall record and a ranking of eighth in the country nationally during his senior year of high school. During that year, he also averaged 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists. He also starred for the Compton Magic, a highly-successful AAU basketball team.
He joins a signing class that includes
E.J. Clark and
Trace Young heading into the 2020-21 basketball season.
