MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State is set to host its final two home matches of the 2021 regular season this weekend at the ASU Soccer Complex and will honor its seniors prior to the Sunday match on Senior Day.
Alabama State (5-7-2, 4-2 SWAC) sits in fourth place currently in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) standings, one game ahead of Friday's opponent Jackson State (4-10-1, 3-2-1 SWAC) in the win column. They are also one game ahead of Sunday's opponent Southern (5-7-1, 3-3 SWAC) heading into weekend play.
With three matches remaining on the schedule, they are also one game back in the loss column to Alabama A&M (5-7-1, 4-1 SWAC) who had their match last weekend at Grambling State postponed.
