BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced the men's basketball weekly honors with
Kenny Strawbridge (Rockford, Ill.) earning Impact Player of the Week honors.

Strawbridge averaged double figures over a pair of games for the Hornets. He scored 14 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the floor in a 74-64 loss to Samford, while also grabbing seven rebounds. He followed that up with 16 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the floor, while grabbing 11 rebounds to record his first double-double of the season. For the week, Strawbridge averaged 15.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.

Meanwhile, Caleb Hunter of Mississippi Valley State was named the Player of the Week after averaging 18.5 points, 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game in a pair of non-conference games.

Alabama State returns to action Wednesday night on the road at No. 4/3 UCLA with tip set for 8:05 pm on the Pac-12 Network.
