MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State returns to action Sunday night at the ASU Soccer Complex, hosting UAB with kick set for 6 pm.
The meeting will be just the second all-time between the schools, with UAB winning that contest back on September 5, 2019 at BBVA Field in Birmingham.
Alabama State (0-1) enters the contest following a 3-1 loss to Troy on Wednesday night in Montgomery, with
Kassandra Schoen scoring her first career goal off an assist from
Teaggan Ilela. Meanwhile, UAB and Samford battled to a 1-1 draw Thursday night.
Fans are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to the ASU Soccer Complex and to enter the complex on the West side and not behind the team's benches, remaining socially distant. Masks must be worn at all times throughout the contest as Alabama State University and its athletic facilities are mask-mandatory.
