MONTGOMERY, Ala. |Â Alabama State will head to Texas for the final two road matchups of conference play and the season this weekend.
Alabama State (3-2-1) is coming off a 4-0 home victory over conference foe Alcorn State on March 21. The Lady Hornets will battle Prairie View A&M Friday night at 7 p.m. and Texas Southern Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Forwards
 Teaggan Ilela and McKenna Wiscombe lead Alabama State with eight points apiece through six matches with Ilela being responsible for two goals and four assists, while Wiscombe has scored four goals on the year.
McKenna Lupori has seven points on the season after accounting for three goals and one assist so far.
Madison Roop has started all four conference games in the net for the Lady Hornets, recording 14 saves and helping Alabama State to a 3-0-1 record with her in goal.
