QUOTES FROM HEAD COACH JODIE SMITH
"This is a huge moment for our program with a big result on the road. We were definitely in a bend but don't break defense tonight as we faced a lot of shots. Sheila stood tall in the net for us tonight, and this was easily the most impressive goalkeeper performance in school history. I am really proud of our TEAM and the 90-plus minute performance they put in! We will use tomorrow as a recovery day and then face crosstown foe Faulkner on Sunday."
UP NEXT
Alabama State (1-5-1) returns to action Sunday afternoon against crosstown foe Faulkner. Kick is set for 2 pm on the Faulkner campus.
