Higashi Named To All-SWAC Second Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama State freshman midfielder Elli Higashi to the All-SWAC Second Team after her performance this season for the Lady Hornets.

The Highlands Ranch, Colorado native recorded two goals, four assists, and eight points this season for Alabama State. Higashi netted her two goals in a 3-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Oct. 9). She managed nine shots with three on goal this season for the Lady Hornets and started 12 out of 13 games for ASU.
