ORLANDO, Fla. | Alabama State will look to end a four-game losing streak in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play on the road Monday night in front of a nationally televised audience when they face Bethune-Cookman.
The game is scheduled for 9 pm (ET) on ESPNU in Daytona Beach (Fla.).
Alabama State won the first meeting between the two schools in Mobile (Ala.) at the Bridge Builders Classic with a 79-73 victory after trailing by double digits in the second half.
Trace Young (Owensboro, Ky.) led Alabama State with 21 points and eight rebounds in that contest, while
Kenny Strawbridge (Rockford, Ill.) finished with 11 and
E.J. Clark (Dallas, Texas) 10 points and four assists.
The two teams have met 17 times in school history, with the Hornets holding a 10-7 advantage including winning both games in Daytona Beach.
