MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State returns home for the first time in two weeks closing out the regular season beginning Thursday night against Southern.
Alabama State (7-21, 6-10 SWAC) currently sits a game back of Jackson State and Bethune-Cookman in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) standings with two games remaining. The Hornets own the tiebreaker over both teams due to winning the season series but will need a win on Thursday night to keep their hopes alive for the eighth and final spot in the conference tournament.
The Hornets will also face Grambling State in the regular season finale on Saturday where they will honor senior
E.J. Clark (Dallas, Texas). The COVID-19 testing procedures have been waived for the final two home games, and tickets can be purchased at the Acadome.
