MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State will hold the annual Black & Gold Spring game at ASU Stadium on Saturday (April 22) with kick set for 2 pm to close out spring practice.
The game will be the first for head coach
Eddie Robinson, Jr. and will be the first spring game for Alabama State since 2019 due to COVID-19. The team did not have a game in 2020 due to the shutdown and again in 2021 due to the spring season. There is no admission to the game that will be streamed on the Hornet Sports Network.
The game will be the centerpiece of a full day of activities that will include a Mini Connection Day, softball against Bethune-Cookman, ring ceremonies honoring our Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) champions over the last year, and the SWARMAS1 All Gold Experience (ticket required).
