Alabama State honors 36 current and former student-athletes graduating in May

The class includes 17 sports and 25 conference championships

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State celebrated 36 current and former student-athletes on Tuesday afternoon who will graduate with either their undergraduate degree or graduate degree in early May.

The class features student-athletes from 17 intercollegiate sports and 25 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) championships. Those student-athletes who were recognized today include -Baseball: Breon Pooler (Applied Technology/graduate), Dilan Espinal (Interdisciplinary Studies), Jorge Rivera (Finance), Angel Jimenez (Management), Hunter May (Management); Men's Basketball: Michael Barber (Interdisciplinary Studies); Football: Ezra Gray (Applied Technology/graduate), Brandon Gaddy (Interdisciplinary Studies), Naytron Culpepper (Interdisciplinary Studies), Hunter Hanson (Interdisciplinary Studies), Demosthenes Jones (Interdisciplinary Studies), Andrew Ogletree (Interdisciplinary Studies), Robert Easterwood (Communications), Charlie Maxwell (Criminal Justice), Terrance Ellis (Management); Men's Tennis: Chris Andre (Management); Men's Track & Field: Duvaire Wauchope (Accounting); Women's Basketball: Kailya Jackson (Applied Technology/graduate), Jada Nneji (Applied Technology/graduate), Hannah White (Psychology), Tyesha Rudolph (Rehabilitation Services); Women's Bowling: Bailee Chapman (Elementary Education), Emani Davis (Health Information); Women's Golf: Iman Adams (Interdisciplinary Studies), Tia Kimbrough (Political Science); Softball: Alex Massie (Biology), Destinee Dixon (Interdisciplinary Studies), Jazmine Dodd (Interdisciplinary Studies), Kat McGlamry (Interdisciplinary Studies); Women's Soccer: Mary Martin Mooneyham (Interdisciplinary Studies), Women's Tennis: Urska Velec (Management); Women's Track & Field: Vinnelle Grant (Computer Information Systems), Penina Chelangat (Finance), Kristen Thompson (Forensic Science); Volleyball: Kalysia Bates (Interdisciplinary Studies), Amaya Finley (Criminal Justice).
