HOW IT HAPPENED

JSU won the first set 25-15 despite starting with a kill from Maya Thompson
The Gamecocks wrapped up the second set on a 5-0 scoring run to extend their advantage to 2-0 with a 25-10 second set win.
Sophie Riermersma finished the third set with her 12th kill of the day to push JSU to a 25-13 win and secure the sweep over ASU.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

Kaylah Jackson registered five kills for the hornets followed by Kalysia Bates, Mahogany Vinson, and Maya Thompson with four apiece.
Kaylah Jackson also led all Hornets in digs with five.
Brooke Adams led ASU in assist with nine on the day.
Sophie Riermersma led all players in kills with a game-high 12.
Kylee Quigley tallied 11 digs for the Gamecocks.
Claire Ochs managed a game-high 21 assists in the setter position.
