MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State University rallied from a 8-0 deficit to take a wild 14-13 win over Bethune-Cookman in game two of a three-game series on Saturday night at the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wildcats plated eight runs on six hits and took advantage of two errors to build an early 8-0 lead in the first inning.
- Alabama State got two of the runs back in the bottom of the first. Jack Hay doubled home Ian Matos and Hay came home on a wild pitch.
- The Hornets loaded the bases in the second inning before a triple play ended the inning.
- Alabama State scored seven runs in the fifth to take a 9-8 lead. Hay drew a walk with the bases loaded and Jamal George delivered a two-RBI single, Kyle Kuramoto had an RBI double, and Matos added an RBI single. Corey King scored on a wild pitch.
- A Hylan Hall had an RBI triple and a run scored on a wild pitch as Bethune-Cookman regained the lead 10-9 in the top of the sixth.
- Alabama State took an 11-10 lead with a two out rally in the bottom of the sixth. Hay walked and Corey King doubled to set up a Cristian Lopez two-run single to right.
- Irvin Escobar doubled in two runs to put BCU back in front 12-11 heading to the bottom of the eighth.
- Alabama State took a 14-11 lead with a three-run bottom of the eighth. Hay singled and scored when Corey King reached on a fielding error. A George singled home King and Lopez scored on a throwing error.
- The Wildcats scored a run on a two-out single by Tuero before a Jason Hodges ground out to end the game.
ON THE MOUND
- Luis Rodriguez (2-0) earned the win, posting five strikeouts while giving up two runs on two hits in 2.2 innings pitched.
- Sebatian Colon closed the game tow earn his third save, Colon gave up a run on two hits in the ninth.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Alabama State pounded out 14 hits, recording double digit hits for the 22nd time this season.
- Corey King had three hits, including a double to lead five Hornets recorded two-plus hits.
- Hay had two hits with a double, two RBI and three runs scored.
- Matos had two hits with an RBI.
- Kuramoto had two hits with a double and one RBI.
- George drove in two runs on a pair of hits.
