BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama State will have six games aired on the ESPN platform announced by the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) at SWAC Media Day on Tuesday.
 
The Hornets will have an additional game, homecoming against Bethune-Cookman on October 7 at ASU Stadium, on HBCUGO TV.
 
"This is a great opportunity for our program to be seen in households around the country," Athletic Director Dr. Jason Cable said. "This will not only put our football program on display, but gives us three games at home to showcase Alabama State University."
 
Alabama State (6-5 a season ago) will host Southern in the season-opening Labor Day Classic on ESPN+ on September 2 with the game scheduled to kick at 5 pm. They will hit the road for a pair of games be aired on the platform, at Florida A&M (September 23) and Jackson State (October 14).
 
The Hornets will have a pair of classics aired on ESPN+ including the Magic City Classic in Birmingham against Alabama A&M (October 28). They will also host Tuskegee in the Turkey Day Classic (November 23).
 
Alabama State also will travel to Prairie View A&M on November 18 on a game that will be broadcast on ESPN+.
