ATLANTA, Ga. | Torrential rain in the Atlanta area over the weekend prematurely ended the 2023 edition of the HBCU National Tennis Championships in the quarterfinal round.
 
Alabama State finished fourth with 64 points with players still in action on the men's side. They finished behind Tennessee State (eventual champion), Alabama A&M, and Xavier. Meanwhile, on the women's side, Alabama State finished third with 52 points, finishing behind North Carolina Central and Florida A&M.
