BATON ROUGE, La. | Led by Savanna Razo's seventh-place finish, the Alabama State University women's bowling team claimed third place at the Southern Queens Invitational.
 
Alabama State started bracket play with its second win over 13th-ranked Tulane, 4-2 before falling 4-3 to eventual tournament champion UAB.
 
The Lady Hornets took their third win over 13th-ranked Tulane 4-1 to lock in the third-place finish.
 
Overall Alabama State finished the weekend with an 8-4 record, including four wins over ranked teams with all five Lady Hornets in the top 25.
 
Razor finished seventh as the top Lady Hornet followed by Lyric O'Steen in 15^th, Payton Hartgrove was 18th, Oliva Miller in 21st and Jenna Knight in 24^th.
