ohana Pousson (1-1) suffered the loss working 3.2 innings in the start allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits.
How It Happened
- (T2) Alana Scott hit a solo homerun to left, Alabama State 1-0.
- (B2) Georgia State used a fielder's choice bringing in a run with two outs, 1-1.
- (B3) The Panthers took the lead on a fly ball to right followed by a throwing error, Georgia State 2-1.
- (B4) Following a stolen base, Chloe Middlebrooks scored on a throw before Carolyn Deady singled in another run, Georgia State 4-1.
- (B5) McKenzie Walker singled to left driving in a run before Maia Mumpfield hit a two-run single up the middle before another run was added, Georgia State 8-1.

Alabama State returns to action this weekend in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) action hosting Jackson State. The series is slated for a single game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday, but will shift due to weather with an announcement coming Thursday.
