TUSCALOOSA, Ala. | Junior Kameron Douglas went 2-for-3 with a double for the Alabama State baseball in a 15-1 loss to the University of Alabama at Sewell Thomas Stadium on Wednesday.
Offensively, the Hornets were paced by Douglas, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a double. Senior Kyler McIntosh compiled a noteworthy performance as well, going 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI.
Freshman Trey Power (0-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Alabama State (1-4).
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hornets were trailing 15-0 in the seventh inning when they first put runs on the board. Alabama State got an RBI single from McIntosh, scoring junior Wilbert Espinal from second base. The ballgame ended with that seventh inning rally falling short.
