TJ Madlock was named this week's HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW on Wednesday.
Madlock will be highlighted on the nationally syndicated sports talk show BOXTOROW with Donal Ware which airs on radio stations across the country including WUMO 94.5 FM
(LISTEN HERE) at noon n Montgomery, Ala., and outside of the U.S. in Bermuda and the Bahamas.
Madlock, averaged 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and shot 52 percent from the field in helping lead the Hornets to a 2-0 record last week.
In the Hornets' win over Southern - handing the Jaguars their first SWAC loss of the season, the Memphis, Tenn., native scored 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting, handed out six assists, and grabbed eight rebounds.
