BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced the student-athletes set to participate in the league's annual SWAC Football Media Day on Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 am CST at the Sheraton-Birmingham.

Cameron Smith join fourth-year Head Coach Eddie Robinson Jr. will represent Alabama State as SWAC Football Media Days.
Lewis earned Second-Team All SWAC a year ago after registering 43 tackles, two interceptions and four pass deflections in 2024. The Miami, Fla., native returned one punt and one interception for a touchdown while forcing a fumble and recovering two fumbles.
Cameron started all 12 games on the offensive line that paved the way for a rushing attack that gained 2,372 yards. The Hogs have paved the way for four games with 200-yard rush yards including a season high 308 at Bethune-Cookman. ASU rushed for 211 yards against Florida A&M, 203 against North Carolina Central and 204 against Alabama A&M. Alabama State rushed for 100 yards in 9-of-11 games missing the 100-yard mark with 97 yards against Alcorn State and Grambling State. The Hornets out rushed 9-of-12 opponents while the 17 sacks allowed are tied for third in the conference.
All twelve SWAC head football coaches will also be in attendance to address media about the upcoming 2025 football season.
